Really nice :) Finally got to see him in the flesh last week at QI Live! Was an amazing night!
:O A combination of two of my loves! The only thing that could top this would be a life sized Stephen Fry cake! Which reminds me! For anyone who is not aware, Stephen Fry does the audiobook of Harry Potter. Just imagine!! Hours and hours of that beautiful voice telling you all about Harry’s marvellous adventures! In my very humble opinion, he does a better job illustrating the story with just his voice that the films manage to create.
That’s right. It’s a new car!! But not just an ordinary car! Certainly not the kind of car Oprah could afford to give away! It is a Lego Volvo XC90. Imagine crashing that bastard! So many happy children… free Lego!!!
:D If this is what I think it is… makes me very happy! I’m 98% sure this is a Phantom of the Opera cake! I saw a production of it 2 years ago. Was an amazing experience! Hehe :) I have a variation of this image on my wall it makes me laugh so much… something about the futility and irony of holding a sign that says ‘Protect the Human’ (not saying Human Rights aren’t incredibly important, they definitely are! :) I simply love music-related images of Mr Berry, mostly because it vividly remind me of his sexy sexy voice! And how wonderful he is! To let us download his music for free! To me that proves him as an artist who is just making music because he fucking wants to. He also frequently tweets/comments in a self-depricating fashion.. so perhaps he just did not think anyone would actually want to buy his music.

I was in a state of absolute gob-smacked AWE when I saw this! Not only is it incredibly skilfully made and tasty looking, but I thought it was a reference to the idea in Hindu Mythology that the world is riding on a giant tortoise (something that I actually learnt about in a lecture earlier this semester). I had no idea what that idea was called, so I assumed it was called ‘Discworld’. But no! Adding another layer to the awesome-ness, ‘Discworld’ is actually the name of a Terry Prattchet fantasy world! Obviously I was not familiar with those particular books, but I do like Terry Pratchett. This cake is amazing beyond belief!!
